How to get there

The conference will be held at the Institute of Urban Planning and Alpine Geography - University of Grenoble Alpes.

The conference will take place on the South campus of Grenoble University (France) and more precisely at the Cité des Territoires at 14 and 14bis, avenue Marie Reynoard 38100 Grenoble. The Cité des Territoires is 15 minutes by tram from the city centre (Tram A, direction Echirolles Denis Papin, stop La Bruyère).

The University Grenoble Alpes is a multidisciplinary university that results from the merger, in 2016, of the three local universities (Joseph Fourier, Pierre Mendès France, Stendhal). The dynamism of the site in research, training and innovation, and the current state of cooperation between the actors were recognised by obtaining the "Initiative of Excellence" (Idex) label in January 2016. This label distinguishes about ten university sites in France to promote their international influence. Grenoble, the capital of Isère (Auvergne Rhône Alpes Region), is a metropolis in the heart of the Alps near Italy and Switzerland. The city's development, particularly linked to industrial development, was particularly remarkable during the Glorious Thirties. Often described as a "laboratory city", Grenoble, which closely combines technical innovation, local democracy and urban experimentation, is currently a candidate to be, in 2022, the European Green Capital.
